Kagematsu nominated for Diana Jones Award

The Diana Jones committee has chosen Danielle Lewon's Kagematsu-the RPG as one of their picks for the shortlist for the 2010 award.

The Diana Jones award, described as "is an annual award created to publicly acknowledge excellence in gaming", is prestigious. It has been won in years past by a wide variety of games, communities and projects such as Grey Ranks by Jason Morningstar, Dominion the card game by Donald Vaccarino, and the Irish game convention charity auctions.

This year, Kagematsu is joined by the convention-busting historical rpg Montsegur 1244, the lively and extremely informative Board Game Geek forums and website, and Chaos in the Old World a very popular board game from Fantasy Flight Games.

Pirate Jenny wishes Danielle and all of the nominees the best of luck! (But maybe a little more for Danielle!)

  1. Kagematsu was bested by Board Game Geek (http://boardgamegeek.com/). Now that's what I call stiff competition! However, Kage took the Best Indie RPG award as a consolation prize. :)
